Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Go To Travel ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you join our waitlist or use our website at gototravelapp.com.

Plain-English summary: We collect your email when you join the waitlist, plus any travel preferences you choose to share. We use that to email you about the launch and to set up your profile when the app is ready. We don't sell your data to anyone.

What we collect

How we use it

What we don't do

Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our website:

Each of these has their own privacy policies. They process data on our behalf and are bound by contract.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. If you're in California, you have rights under CCPA including the right to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Data retention

We keep your waitlist signup until you ask us to delete it or until we're confident you're no longer interested (e.g. multiple emails unopened over a long period). At that point we delete the record.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: essentials to make the site work, and analytics to count visits. We don't use advertising cookies. If we add a cookie banner, you can manage your preferences there.

Children

Go To Travel is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if anything material changes. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.

Questions, requests, or concerns? Email hello@gototravelapp.com and we'll respond within 7 days.

⚠️ Note for the founder: This is a sensible starting policy for a pre-launch waitlist but it is not a substitute for review by a lawyer who knows your jurisdiction. Before significant marketing spend or App Store submission, have a lawyer review and tailor it to your business. Update the "Last updated" date and confirm the list of service providers actually matches what you're using.
